Nokia Lumia 800C and Lumia 610C announced in China

Nokia today announced their first Lumia devices for Chinese market in a ceremony that was held at the Yongdingmen Gate, Beijing.

Nokia Lumia 800C will be available for Chinese costumers in black and cyan in early April.

Announcing the launch, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop said:

We’re excited to introduce our first Lumia smartphone, the Nokia 800C, to this important market with our exclusive launch partner, China Telecom. Working closely together, we’ve created a compelling, locally relevant experience on the Nokia 800C especially tailored for people in China.

Nokia today also announced the Lumia 610C, low-cost Windows Phones with an 800MHz processor and 256MB of RAM, available in Q2 2012.

As part of the launch, Nokia also unveiled the region specific applications and customizations for its Lumia handsets in China. Nokia soon plans to offer 100,000 free downloads of the hit games Fruit Ninja and Plants vs Zombies via the new Chinese-language Windows Phone Marketplace.
